need more info as to why it's falling out. so many things can cause it...medications, chemotherapy, illness, stress, poor nutrition, eating disorders, genetic disposition. In the cases of meds, chemo, illness, genetics, there's not much you can do. Things like stress, poor nutrition, eating disorders are things you can change.

The average person loses about 100 hairs a day, if your hair is long it might be more, the hair is heavier.....or maybe it just seems like more because long hair is more noticable on the floor and gets caught on stuff easier. When my hair comes out more than usual I know it's time for a hair cut, just means my hair has grown a little too long.

Chandni actually i was the same problem. But now i haven't. I think u r in stress or illness. The normal hair falling is 100hairs in a day. First thing be free of mind. Then wash ur hair 2/3times or as ur wish in a week. Leave free ur hair 1hour a day. Before wash ur hair do some oil massage. Very important thing is be free minded & drink sufficiant water in a day. Try this. All the best.

If you experienced a highly stressful period in the past three to six months, the falling out could be a direct result. When extremely stressed, the hair follicles can sometimes become damaged and the hair actually breaks inside the follicle.

As it grows, the break is still there, but the new hair is growing below the break. When the break in the hair grows up to the scalp, it then falls out...sometimes in big wads or clumps. But remember, the hair is still there in the follicle, and will continue to grow, just will take some time.

My advice to you, if you think this might be the case, is to cut hair in a cute short style and start growing again.

Good luck! I hope this helps you...

Healthy and glossy hair depends on a whole some and nutritious diet. Hair is made of protein. A protein rich diet can help it grow strong and healthy. Minerals and vitamins are also important for lustrous hair. Include eggs, mango, liver, dark green leafy vegetables, carrots, dried apricots, whole grain cereals, sprouts, peas in the daily diet Alfalfa juice in combination with spinach or coriander if taken daily will help the hair to grow fast. You can also try this home remedy for hair loss, grind fenugreek seeds with water and apply on the head after oiling the hair. Leave it at least for 40 minutes before washing. Do it every morning for a month.

some of the above suggestions and observastions are good.... any question u must give with details so that the other person can give direct and pointed reply... however Baba Ramdevji Maharaj the Yoga Guru has recommended rubbing the nails of one hand with the other, for two to three minutes, at least three to four times a day, whenever u have time, this should stop hair from falling and is suppose to give better growth.... see him on aastha channel at night 8.15pm to 9. 30, or buy his CD for rs.110/-

Eat healthier foods. If your diet lacks protein and iron, among other nutrition, your hair is more prone to falling out. Pick a good shampoo especially formulated for your hair, and don't pull at your hair or tangles.

I am assuming you mean falling out???
Check your nutrition... people with poor nutrition often lose a lot of hair, sometimes in chunks.
If you are eating well, ask your doc. There could be a condition present that needs attention.
