If the sun is supposed to make your hair lighter....?

than how come in europe, thats where mainly the blonde hair originates from, and they have barely and sunlight their? and why does black hair originate from places that are exposed to a lot of sun light which is supposed to make hair lighter?

Their hair is naturally blonde. Idk why, lol. But sunlight lightens hair, kinda like getting it highlighted, and since people who have dark hair and get it highlighted still have dark hair genetically, their kids probably won't have light hair. Hope that helps a little.

it could be a diet that is part of the reason that their hair has in time grown blond just like the Africans hair and body colour which is black. the sun will tan a person but in order of it to stick into a person's genetics there has to be a diet and enviorment effect come togethere to cause a change also this happens slowly over time

Alot of questions there...ok for example in china they wear those straw hats when theyre in the sun and work in fields...but in places like norway it's within the artic circle...so theres light reflected up from snow covered areas...Germany gets alot of snow too...and so does switzerland...you wouldnt need a hat to protect you from the hot sun in those places...but theres alot of uv light it seems...

Well I think I remember reading that people in Africa need extra protection from the sun so that's why their hair is coarse and dark.

natural haircolor has to due with the melenin production in your body. sun will fade colored hair for sure and also dry it out
