I have really long, thick hair and just to blowdry and straighten it, it takes nearly an hour. I work two jobs and don't have that kind of time usually to spend on styling my hair. Does anyone have any suggestions of styles that can be done, especially with wet hair?

of course! so many people have your problem (including me) and there are tons of styles that are cute and take no time.

styles:

1. single braid...make it a bit messy/untidy and let it be loose.
2. two briads...pigtails are cute for any age trust me
3. cute messy bun: they're easy to do and they look totally cute. let some hair fall down after contorting your bun, and great tip- make it high, and then pull the bun down while up so it looks messier like you just ran a mile and the bun came loose. so cute!

4. a ponytail never hurt. its a classic after all
5. whether your hair is disgusting and wavy or curly and ugly, if you brush it out and put on a cute headband, it will look good. no matter what!
6. clips do wonders. put your hair either in the messy bun technique or a normal pull back bun and clip everything in your face back. cute and wispy does the trick while wet.

other options:

1. if you have no time to blow dry, scrunch your hair. scrunching works best while wet! you can scrunch naturally, or if you need the wispy curls to stay longer, use a good mousse and (if totally needed, but i dont like as much) some hairspray.
2. after taking a shower, put curl enahncer in. when your hair dries, it can dry in pretty curls.

hope those helped!

I also have long, thick hair.
What I did was went to the beauty salon and got my hair thinned.
Or have you tried scrunching your hair when damp? Gel and hairspary can do wonders. Wait until your hair is damp...or blow dry it a little. Flip your head upside down, and put gel in. Then flip it back up, scrunch, and then hairspary...while your hairspraying it, scrunch it up and blow dry it a little.
Another method I have used is a wet2straight straightener. It drys and straightens your hair at the same time!
Hope I helped!

If you're not overly attached to your long hair, get a cut. It will be much easier to style!

To style (long or shorter), put in some mousse after showering, and blow it partially dry w/a diffuser. There you go!

yes, if you have curly hair. wait about 10 minutes after towel drying hair, and blowdry bangs if you have them. then i put in john frieda frizz ease dream curls spray, pantene curl defining scrunching mousse, and scrunch it.. this is all with my head flipped over. then use some suave extra hold aerosol hair spray and you are set for the day!

DON'T GET IT STRAIGHTEND, DON'T PUT GEL IN IT AND DON'T THIN IT!! IT WILL ONLY MAKE IT THAT MUCH MORE FRIZZY AND DAMAGED.

GET ICON MESH OR ALTERNA TEXTURIZING GLAZE AT YOUR NEAREST SALON/ BEAUTY SUPPLY!!

THESE ARE CREAMS THAT ARE FOR CURLY HAIR. YOU PUT IT IN WHEN YOUR HAIR IS TOWEL DRIED AND DIFFUSE IT WITH YOUR DRYER. IT WON'T GET CRUNCHY OR STICKY. YOU WILL HAVE HYDRATED HAIR WITH A SOFT STYLE. TRUST ME I WENT THROUGH IT AND I HAVE PUT MANY PEOPLE ON THESE PRODUCTS AND THEY LOVE IT
