Definitely a 1 person job, but the newer ones are a bit easier to get up and down. Mine is a 98, and I can have the top off in less than two minutes. A bit longer to get it back up, probably 4 or 5 minutes. Once you've done it a few times, it's easy.

This is a one person job and should take 15 minutes or less.... faster with practice. Hard top is obviously a 2 person job and should not take very long either. Happy motoring.

It is not hard to take off the top. Depending on what you mean by off, it will take as much as 5 minutes (less if you just want to fold it back). It takes a lot longer to get it back on. My old CJ could take as much as 15 minutes to get it back on, my YJ at the most takes 5 minutes. I have put up a TJ roof in a matter of minutes.

It's a one person job.

I can drop the top on my Wrangler in about 10 minutes. Takes longer to put it back up!

I use a CloverLeaf window roll to protect my windows, so it takes me a few minutes to roll my windows up. But, that way, I can take my windows with me in case of rain.

After you have done it a few times it is quite easy. I have been able to put the top up or down in 15 min or less even in the dark.

It only takes fifteen-twenty minutes. One person can do it easily but if you do it a lot you can average your time to about ten minutes. I do my dad's when he doesn't feel like it and wants it off. Practice makes perfect!!
