it was on the front page of yahoo once and I downloaded it but now I want to get rid of it...How do I get the old version back?

Start, Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs, IE7, uninstall.

You downloaded IE7 just for clarification. You could uninstall it and try to find IE6 online, download that and use it.
Otherwise there might be a setting under Preferences that allows you to use 6 again.
BTW 7 is 6 with all of the patches built in, it is much safer and protects you computer a lot better then IE6
If it is an asthetic problem you will live, or try firefox avalible from www.mozilla.com

Are you talking about Internet Explorer 7? I don't know if you can go back. Have you tried the Firefox or Opera browsers? Both are free and considered to be considerably more secure than Internet Explorer. Just Google firefox or opera, and you'll find them.
