Green Donkey ~
This is the worst decade ever for boxing! There are some bright spots, some fighters that can make a splash, Taylor, Wright, Barrera, Cotto and Duddy but there's so many overrated, over-hyped fighters out there that are handpicking opponents just to collect belts or to stay a "Champion" just a little longer like Mayweather, he turned down 6 million dollars more to fight a young and hungry Antonio Margarito and Valuev, he and Don King are feeding him lots of small Heavyweights that couldn't break a egg so he can remain undefeated.
The worst is, you have the "Fans" that don't know anything about the sport call people "Great" You seem to have figured it out, you came to this forum and asked a question because you kinow that things aren't right.

Floyd Mayweather is 37-0 and has not ducked any opponents. He has even fought out of his weight class including taking the WW title last night against Baldomir. He is asking for a fight with Oscar De La Hoya.
You also have to consider Valuev if only for his being 7ft tall and looking like a huge beast in the ring. I am sure he will be knocked down sooner or later but he is currently a "big" stand-out.

The sooner there are no boxers at all, the better. There are so many great sporting events , why would you want to bother with this one. It's a bit like smoking ; we know it kills us and we still do it.
