dont you wish now that you wouldnt have got into trouble? i think that its going to be terrible there for you. i dont know what you done or how old you are. that does make a difference.
if i had to go to jail, i would write letters and sleep alot and i would keep to myself. that 6 months is going to seem like 6 years. make it a learning experience and dont ever commit any crime again. im sure there are people that love you, its going to be hard on them too. good luck to you

Have some cash on your books so you can buy commissary. Keep your mouth more shut than open til you know whats what and whos who. Know that you can do this just like a lot of others have. Keep your personal business to yourself. Don't drive yourself and your family crazy with a lot of letters and/or phone calls. You can catch up when you get home. Good luck.

don't let one person walk over you stand up as said be a man.

Find the heavy, don't call anyone a goof, and most of all just stay put.

Most likely you will be in a detention centre, so you will be in a range , not peneteniary system, just hang out and relax, excercise and make the most of being in there like education, and figuring out how to change your life so you do not put yourself into this situation again.

Leave all your jewelry and wallet (except for an ID) at home. Bring some money so you can order some basics. Take care of all your financial affairs before you get there.

Why are you doing an 180 day sentence? I'm guessing your trafficking marijuana being from British Columbia.

I would be living it up for now. My brother is in jail and he said not to get overly friendly with other be quite stick to yourself and watch your back. They love playing crawl jokes on people. Save up alot of money so u can buy wat u want inside like a play station, Radio, fan nothing much is provided only the bare essentials. U can buy your own food stuffs but that u will also have to watch because people take wat is not theirs. Dont start fights over it u will end up with alot of enemies.

Exercise, read, ignore ignorance..and don't let it happen again. Oh, and don't trust anyone for 6 months. Anything you say can and will be used against you by someone attempting to kiss *** for extra privileges.

That sucks. I'd start writing something covering your experiences while your in there, that'd at least give you something constructive to do, and something interesting to bring out of there, not to mention it'd be good for your mind

Keep to yourself, don't be a wise guy, start lifting weights, fight if you need to and don't give up til they knock you out. Always be aware of your surroundings, trust no one, don't give or accept favors. Exchange favors for goods. Last but not least BE A MAN!
