Is it unusual if a family of 3 children and their 4 first cousins all in their late 30's and early 40's don't want to marry at all? Could this possibly be a family gene that runs in the family for non-marriage or just end of the line? Thoughts?

I don't think wanting to get married or not is genetic...

Perhaps their parents or grandparents had a bad marriage and it ruined the idea for them? And they can all get married yet! They're lives aren't over.

This got nothing to do with gene but more with cultural values. They think marriage is not that important or too important that they think too much before doing it. Even if the world see them as unusual, they think there's nothing wrong with them (which is true), they have gotten used to the idea of late marriage or no marriage at all. I don't think they intent to end the line, if it happends, it's because they just not into marriage. They must have good reasons not to get married early, personally I don't think that's unusual. Seeing how many divorced nowadays, in the future, perhaps there would be more people that think like them.

Perhaps they are just independent, strong people, who may yet marry, or do not feel the need to marry just not to be alone. You asked if it was unusual - yes, probably it is for none of these family members to have married by their late 30's but it is their life and obviously someone taught them to be independent thinkers and not worry about what others think. I am curious about your connection to these people. Do you want to marry one of them?

Marriage or wedding minded? Two very different things. Do these people have partners and children and just can't be bothered with a wedding or perhaps like someone else suggested, they are simply independant people with no need to marry. It's not genetic.

Some people just feel it's easier to focus on their careers. Some others feel why mess up a good thing and prefer long term relationships as opposed to marriage. It is odd though.

it is unusual, but I dont think there is anything wrong with it. marriage is not about love anyway, it is about a legal binding financial contract between two people who will rip one another to shreds over $10 when the shine fades
