do you love that way?

Unconditional love is the total and complete love for another person regardless of what they have done in their lives. This is the love most mothers feel for their children. Some couples feel for each other. A few siblings feel for each other. It's not romantic. It is the pure love of Christ.

Unconditional love means that you love the person no matter what they do, who they are, and what they say. Now this does not mean that you agree with every thing that person does. For instance, a mother will always love her child - no matter what that child does. They may not like something the child does, but they will still love them. I think that love is different for everybody. For instance, what would you do for the one you love? Supporting that person as best you can is all you can offer and if the person does something that is morally or legally wrong, you can support them through the crisis, but not engage in their situations. I think this is where some people trip up, when you love someone, you do not have to engage in something 'wrong' to show your love, you can say 'no' becuase you love them and want to help them. To me unconditional love is a natural love between a parent and child. Is there truly unconditional love between two adults? I don't know. If that is the case, why are there so many divorces and separations? Unconditional love between two adults means that you love that person no matter what they do - so does that mean you love through infidelity - illegal actions - abuse.... I guess - you can still love that person, but not condone their actions and no longer live with them and be a party to their actions.

Yes - I have unconditional love for my family.

My personal opinion :)

Get a dog and then you will understand, and no I dont mean anything kinky by that. Animals give us unconditional love - they love us if we have a bad day and yell at them, if we forget to feed them, they love us no matter what. And I think it is really hard for humans to do that because of different reasons. You can try. I dont love the person I am with that way, probably mostly because he smacks me in the face sometimes.

Trust, honesty, time, sacrafice. A boy singing group named Hi-Five, wrote a song about unconditional love back in the early 90's and it is very true.

unconditional love is when u love someone regardless of anything...it's kinda like when u have a dog and if u are mean to ur dog one day cause ur in a bad mood he'll just look at u and cock his head sideways and still be there for u until ur over ur mean spell.
regardless of what u do that dog is gonna love u and be loyal to u
(somehow i think i've given u an inappropriate example)

Unconditional love is loving someone...no matter what! No ifs ands or buts.
I try to love this way. It's how I want to be loved in return.

it's a love without conditions. It's like remember that thing at the church wedding? Where they said for better and for worse? Well alot of divorces just say that they like them for the better AND not the worse. You don't have a choice and never does love. My uncle got married this year in June and they had this Love is not selfish, it does not have doubts, something like that at their wedding program. Also I read this book about loving yourself unconditionally.

Yes I do..I love my ex unconditionally still...it's loving someone for the good and the bad...loving someone if they had a bad day and took it out on you.loving someone for their traits you can't stand.loving them for what's inside and out.not trying to change them to what you want them to be...loving someone so much that you never get them out of your head..you always want to know how they are..how their day was..do they need anything..to spend all your free time with them.
