My son responded well when we bought a bunch of Hot Wheels and put them in a big bowl for him to pick one everytime he went on the potty. We tried stickers, stamps, and candy with him first and nothing worked except the cars. It took us two weeks and he dind't have any accidents after the Hot Wheels were brought into the picture. Also, if you can get him to go TT in the potty, but not poop, then you can get a bowl of "special" cars for him to choose from when he goes #2. We just bought some of the small Nascar so they were cooler looking than the Hot Wheels.

I have four yr ancient dual boys and an 18 month ancient boy. My twins are potty-informed however now I must begin operating at the youngster. Boys are extra intricate given that they as an alternative play then move to the potty. I attempt to take the youngster however he simply sits there and smiles given that he thinks good if mommy likes it then I find it irresistible too! You must have A LOT of endurance in relation to boys given that they do not rather care to be blank within the first location they as an alternative be soiled! So well success whilst you discover out how, simply maintain making an attempt so long as you're inclined to exhibit him the best way to move to the potty it'll get larger in time.

Bribery is the key! Oh and Cheerios's He can toss them in the potty and "aim"! Maybe try a jar of his favorite candy. Or if you have excel make a potty chart and pick up some neat stickers! And when he does the "big" one get him something extra special.

But like if he wants to go outside say " You can't go out tell you go on the potty" This worked for my daughter! Good luck!

Patiently -- never making it a big issue. He'll get there, believe it or not. Don't bribe, threaten or withhold. Get his smaller donut toilet seat, show him what to do. Guide him. Little by little he will get it all down fine. No biggee. Don't make it an issue. In the meantime he will have to wear those diaper-like undies for boys learning to use the potty, just in case of accidents. At first he will tell you when he is done. Then you wipe him. In time after a bit of training, he will wipe himself. You just have to make sure he does it properly. Then there are trips to the public restrooms. Then there is school. Then it is forgotten [by parents] as child is on his own. They grow up so fast.

A good tip for teaching peeing in the potty is to put some Cheerios in the water and making a game of sinking them when he has to go.

Patience also helps a lot.

Good luck!

Draw a character on the under part of the lid on the toilet and tell him that is his pet and he has to feed it when he goes number one or two he is feeding it. Sounds silly and gross I know but it works also unless he wants to don't teach him to stand up until he's ready. believe it or not, put them on the potty backwards. of course, that means that you will need to be VERY SANITARY. put them on the potty about 5-7 minutes after they have had a drink. put them on seat down but backwards to pee at home. sit them properly to teach bowel movements. i know it sounds stupid but if they are ready to learn potty stuff, it will work in about amonth. don't use shame tactics no matter the outcome. Good Luck.

Let them watch a male do it for urine. For stool you have to learn to watch and you can tell when they need to use the potty/toilet , when you think they do need to go take them and sit them down on the toilet/pottyseat until they uses it.

Above all always brag on them for using the toilet. It makes them feel important and once they undersatnd it's feels bette rto be dry they will want to continue and praise helps.

Wait until they are ready to potty train then do NOT take them out of diapers until they have mastered it totally. I kept my daughter in diapers until she mastered pooping and was no longer wetting in her sleep.

Start outside. For some reason, boys love to go outside. Let him go on a tree or bush, and he will eventually be able to go inside. Good luck!
