He would not have looked like the other Hebrews. He would have looked like Adam, with all the same genetic material. At the time, all other humans were the result of 4000 years of genetic drift. Christ didn't come to be like other humans, he came as a perfect human being, a replacement for the one who brought sin into the world, to than remove it. The meaning of Adam was red man, and this likely best describes Jesus. Since he worked mostly outside, as a carpenter, he was likely well tanned, but without any of the usual affects of being in the sun, such as leathery skin. He was also likely a very strong man, because carpentry was very hard work. He would have been living in a middle income family, as Joseph had a trade that would have been in demand. Yes, he was Jewish by the fact that he was born of a Jewish woman, but genetically, he was more a clone of Adam. He is a little of all of us, if we combined all our genetic traits into one person.

This day and age, people live much more secular lives than in centuries past and many people don't do much thinking or praying about matters of faith. It's my experience that the "Sunday Christian" can't speak much about their Christian Faith, nor is it much a part of their daily lives, so maybe they get caught up in these side issues. It's a good opportunity to re-focus someone on what's relevant.

perchance they sense threatened. it relatively is incredibly too undesirable that extra people do no longer take what Jesus mentioned and observe it to their lives. in spite of the undeniable fact that that being mentioned, we are basically human... and people are in basic terms born in sin, consequently we aren't appropriate.. God knows our heart nonetheless.

Good point -- I don't get it either, why people argue about such things.
At the end of the day, who cares what color He was? He's the Son of God -- that's all that matters.

I dont have that argument, 'cause I don't really care. All I care about is that He redeemed lost man and because of Him, I have the victory.

He wasn't either. Like you said, he was Middle Eastern. He was born in Bethlehem. That is in the Middle East, so why would he be black or white?

It's like fuchsia, but with a shade less lavender, and a bit more pink.
