That is about it. The old wives tales about lemon juice and salt will just damage your teeth, and the one about peroxide is not completely true either, as I have soaked an extracted tooth in that to remove the blood and tissue and it took soaking it for about 24 hours for the tooth to get white. So unless you plan on holding peroxide in your mouth for 24 hours, which I don't recommend, that isn't going to work well to whiten.
Crest whitestrips are not that expensive and they do work. Don't try those old wives tales.

Tell her that contacts dont harm folks, they certainly not do, they certainly not have. Do a few study on how riskless contacts are in comparison to glasses. If you get in a crash, the ones glasses would holiday and harm you. Contacts are instantly for your eyes and the worst, your eyes would emerge as angry. They are extra steeply-priced, that would be a aspect. But you continue to will want your glasses at the aspect for while you are taking the contacts off. Anyways, wish I've helped.

Commercial tooth whiteners use hydrogen
peroxide and are expensive and inconvenient.

I use a whitening toothpaste (typically Crest or AquaFresh) and it does a good job...the last time I went to my dentist she commented on how white my teeth are...I'm 41 and drink coffee and smoke (both of which are known to discolor teeth) so perhaps if your toothpaste isn't one of the whitening ones, you might want to change that.

yeah theres no homeade way to brighten your teeth...just brush your teeth after you eat and stuff, floss, eat apples.
