Me and my guy friend have known each other for a long time, but finally after years of knowing each other we've finally admitted that there's an attraction there. We've cuddled and chilled but we've never kissed or done anything more that that, and I can't stop thinking about him and being with him. I don't know if he thinks about me as much as I think about him, and I feel like if I asked him if he thought about me all the time too and he said no I would be crushed, and it would destroy our friendship, something that I don't want. We're really in the pre-dating stage right now. I just want to know how to stop thinking about him so much. It's really interfering with my school work and everyday life. We live on the same college campus so it's always tempting to go over to his room, but i dont want to be too desperate. WHAT SHOULD I DO? What techniques can i use to stop daydreaming about him?

I had a friend like that, and one day we just acted on it. It was the greatest relationship I ever had. Circumstances beyond our control came between us, but I will never forget how good the times together were. We don't see each other any more, as both of us are married to someone else, but we talk about once a year.

I say go for it. It's going to drive you crazy otherwise.

If you really want to get him out of your mind you should start dating other people. I guess I don't understand why you wouldn't want to give it a try. Sometimes friends can turn into something more. You could talk about it before you move forward and just agree that you will always put your friendship first and try to keep that respect no matter what happens.

U have to make d decision. Go for it or remain as it is. Either way, u have to decide wat u wanna do. If u've decided, stick to ur decision and be prepared for the results. Good or bad, it'll happen sooner or later.

To stop daydreaming about him??? If u can really stop, ur interest in him will minimise. Just try to concentrate on wat ur'll doing. Spend some free time thinking about all the good and bad times together n make a decision....... fell free to send me a email if u need anymore help....

Cheers

Well if you only like him..start doing other things..keep yourself busy and you won't have time to think about him..if you want to try to see him..watch out for letting yourself fall in love with him..once you do..you never stop loving him or thinking about him..I am still in love with my ex and it has been a long time since we broke up..I still think about him all the time too.

wow.....i'd have to say like that sounds EXACTLY what i had happening to me for a year. i finally discovered that letting my dreams run wild was seriously the best way out. (i discovered this after dating another guy, fighting it, "hating" him, and trying almost any other thing possible). So i let my dreams go wild, and i thought it would work out, and finally i found my answer to what was going on.....so i hope yours works out well!!!
