Naw, your dog is fine. Dogs eat bugs all the time..Especially beetles..They are good protein

Just keep an eye on your dog to make sure that she doesn't have a reaction to the bug. Some dogs are allergic to insect bites and may suffer from the same sort of symptoms that people display when bitten by an insect such as facial swelling, hives etc. If you notice any of these signs or symptoms get your pup to the vet right away. An allergic reaction may cause your pups throat to swell and cut off his airway.
I don't mean to sound like an alarmist, but do take care and watch your pup for the next couple of hours.

I think your dog will be fine. If she's not, she will either throw up or have other symptoms. Do you live in an area where there are poisonous insects? If so, call your emergency vet and just ask on the phone whether they feel you need to bring her in. They will be honest. Just think, in some cultures people eat insects also! Good luck. - AND by the way, in an emergency, there is no time to wait for answers (which may or may not be right) on a website! Only a doctor would know.

I wouldn't worry about it. Most poisonous animals give off a color or an odor so other animals will stay away. If she starts vomiting or become disoriented then take her to the vet to be examined.
