If I don't rest for a while my body is still creating a lot of heat and I start sweating again when I get out of the shower.

It's better to shower right away due to the germs , you can pick up in a gym. All though working out it is not a contact sport (most of the time), ring worm and other bacteria can be picked up , due to the contact the person had previously, with the equipment.

after your system comes down is better, are you doing any carbs after you work out? Try an apple after you work out, your system won't crash as hard
