Is it just me or does it piss you off when we are referred to as "you Americans"

Alright, I think some of you may have misinterpreted my question so let me clarify a bit-
I see alot of questions on here saying things like why do "you Americans" always think this or do that, which is usually followed up by negative statement. America is made up of 300 million+ people from all over the world and no two are exactly alike. We don't look the same, talk the same, act the same or think the same-And, we have the right to express our own minds as individuals-just one of the things that make this country great.I just don't like people telling me what I think when I have a perfectly capable mind of my own. :)
