This probably does not apply to all atheists, but I think on a whole, most are willing to support what they believe in or don't believe in. I think that is certainly a good trait. I think that most are very caring people who live life to the best of their ability just as most Christians, Islamics, Pagans, etc. do. There will be good things to like and things that are not so good - depending on the person, just like people of any religion or non-religion.

The challenge to a Christian of where have I gone wrong that this person does not have the wonderful chance of all christiananity has on offer. If an Athiest is questioning the Athiest definately has a chance.

I'm not Christian but dang this is taking longer to come up with an answer than I thought. I like the athiests that aren't narrowminded and the ones who don't badger Christians all day

All human beings have good qualities and as a Christian I like to bring out the best in all people without stuffing my beliefs down their throats...
Plus it's so amazing when an atheist discovers there is a living God and seeing the newness of their spirit and the joy in their hearts.
The only difference between a Christian and an atheist is that we believe in God and they don't. The human race and condition exists regardless.
More important is that God loves us all and it is His desire that all would come to Him. He has no favorites....

my favorite thing about atheist is the fact that they dont exist, I am awar that there are those who claim to be an atheist, but in reality an athesit cannot exist.
To say there is no God is to say you have enough knowledge to know that there is no God. but an athesit can never have enough knowledge to know for certain there is no God. He /she would have to know everything, because if there is something outside his/her realm of knowledge, that something could include God. An Atheist would have to be everywhere, in and out of the universe, because if there is someowhere he/she cannot be, God could be there. No atheist can claim total knowledge, there fore Atheism is self refuting because to have all knowledge and be everywhere is to be like God. since no one can prove ther is no God atheism becomes irrelevant. rather the better title would be agnostic -one who claimes he "dosent know if God exist.", or "one who professes ignorance.". I denied the existence of the creator God for many years. I later leanred that my belifes were not foinded on truth, but on a love for my ungodly lifestyle and unwillingness to examine the facts. God has given us a consceince, We Know its wrong to transgress Gods Moral Law (Ten Commandments) and Lie, steal, commit adultery, use Gods name in vain and murder. The BIble ay's God has given his inner light (conscience) to every man. when you stand beofre God the BIble says if you have broken the above commandments or any of the commandments, you will be without excuse and face the [unishment for sin (Death and Hell). But God sent Jesus to die for us and pay the penalty for our sins. we can be forgiven if we repent (turn from sin) and place our faith and trust in jesus.
We already have the knowledge of truth, and when a Man calls himself an atheist, he is not only attacking God; he is attacking his own consceince.

That they are not confused about their religion..They are a blank slate. When someone reaches their heart with the truth a lightbulb goes on and they get it.
They have had something in their life go bad..and instead of accepting daddy and momma got divorced ..or grandma died of old age..or their child is riddled with cancer they choose to blame God.
When we are born, we are born to an uncertain world. And all of us are going to die. We will not lead a perfect life. Stuff happens that we can't control. Time and circumstance befalls all men.
So the sooner they get it...and accept that satan has caused all of our heartaches..and God is our only way out of this mess..the happier they will be.
For their sakes they need to change...but if they continue on in their disbelief of God I say.....step off of a cliff if you don't believe in anything..you will find you do believe..in gravity
bind your mouth and nose shut if you don't believe..or take a breath and there it is, the breath of life God gave you.
Cut yourself if you don't believe.....and you will bleed to death....
FUNNY THING IS THEY DO BELIEVE IN GOD....THEY KNOW A WHOLE LOT..YET THEY CHOOSE NOT TO OBEY...THAT IS AN ATHIEST...A DIS0BEYER....A REBEL...A BAD PERSON...FOR THEY FEEL SO WHAT IF GOD IS WATCHING I WILL LIVE MY LIFE MY WAY.....

Favorite thing about atheists?...they will be punished for turning their backs on God and hurting him after all He has done for them.

All of the athiests that I know are nice people. They are more considerate than some Christians that I know. They are just as much a child of God as the rest of us...they just don't know it. Keep them in your prayers.

I guess it's their ability to see through a bunch on nonsense and see things clearly.They are able to reject religious superstitions and live a life free of torment and guilt. I can see how that could be a beautiful thing.

I truly have an answer. I LOVE that atheists have actually taken the time to think through what they believe. LOTS of people just live without thinking about their purpose. Atheists and Christians BOTH question their purpose and reason for existence.
...And as for the sarcastic "there's got to be something" well, let's be nice, OK? My dad used to be an atheist before he found a personal relationship with Jesus. I can tell you for a fact that there's not just SOMETHING but LOTS of things that Jesus loves about atheists , and we should love everyone like He does.....
