Im a 16 year old guy and I like my best friend who is a girl. I fear that she likes someone else. What should I do? I know you are going to say "ask before she gets taken" or something like that. Apart from that what should I do?

Decide what you value most... the friendship or wanting her. If she is into someone else, then you're best at remaining friends with her...or you could tell her you like her and see what happens. But if something happens, there's the possibility you'll never be friends the same way again.

I say leave it alone, unless you really just are madly in love. I told two differant best (girl) friends that I liked them (they were many years apart) and I lost both friends and gained only bad memories. It is hard for guys to just be friends, but you should work at it. If you can't do that, then yes, tell her, but be prepared if she doesn't feel the same.

My wife is my best friend, but we grew to become that way after first dating. It's just differant if you start off as best friends, I think the girl thinks of you more as a brother.

The greatest love in life starts with a friendship. If you turly have feelings for this young lady you must tell her. If your fiendship is real it will withstand the test. Just remember the only chances in life you regret are the ones not taken.

You may not like this, but don't be so friendly and pal type, otherwise she'll treat you as a friend forever. If you want her to get interested in you more than what she is already, shrug her off a bit, don't be mean, but don't be too nice. Also, maybe hint to her that you like her more than a friend.

Dude, your best chance is not to get wimpy on her. Don't get all emotional sharing your feelings. Just start flirting, testing the waters. But unless she secretly liked you all along, once you hit the "friendzone" there is usually no turning back.

Tell her how you feel. Communicate is the best policy.
