I guess you are really one dimensional with your questioning.

First of all, "your minister" is not quite right. A minister is ordained to God, not to man. He/she is imperfect trying to do the perfect (I assume you know what the word "ordains" mean?

Now for your lesson: John 8:2-11. I assume you know the bible, but have just forgotten this passage. Focus in on verse 11. Remember the words "neither do I condemn you" and "Go now and leave your life of sin."

It is clear the laws have been broken and trails will take place. But by your language and actions, you are just another sinner that is quick to condemn and slow to forgive.

I hope you enjoy the rest of the book.

Do you realize that most pastors have church's that are under 100 members and many under 50. Do you realize many do not even accept payment from their church for the work they do? Many work jobs just as anyone else. I for one am a pastor (although I do not have a church, I have a ministry) but I work full time and often spend long hours in serving others. I do not get a dime for it and in fact, I pay most of the bills for this ministry out of my pocket...so Please do not slam all ministers because a few fall.

Remember also, we are told that he who is without sin..cast the first stone.

Sure, get mad. Christianity is already getting hit hard by every front. Now get over it.

Your minister or any other, they are people. People that mess up. Rom. 3:10 There is none righteous, no not one. We are all sinners. Sin entered this world by one man, sin brought death, death passed to all men, all have sinned (Rom 5:12) People who sin must confess, turn away from their sin. Agree with God that they are sinners and deserve death and then beg for mercy. God is merciful. He forgives sin because the God man (Jesus Christ) paid IT ALL.

Okay, bam a lam man, get on your knees and pray for these brothers and sisters IN CHRIST. Pray for your ministers. The Lion is stalking another brother right now. There is a war on and it is not in the middle east. It is spiritual and it is real.

I hate it.

It is further proof that satan works hardest on those in the spotlight. By bringing down a minister he accomplishes much more harm then by embarassing John Smith the guy who sits in the forth row.
But it is necessary and ugly.

I'm glad he was removed! They should remove everyone who sits in a church but lives an immoral life, but there would probably be only 1 or 2 people left.

Th tragedy is not that Haggard id gay, the tragedy is that Christians will not accept that homosexuality is a natural form of sexual orientation, even when one of the own is found to be gay

As it is written: "Rejoice not when thine enemy falleth, and let not thine heart be glad when he stumbleth: Lest the Lord see it, and it displease him, and he turn away his wrath from him." (Proverbs 24:17-18)

In other words, don't gloat when someone gets caught in their sin, or you might just make it easier on them.

These scandals crack me up. You know, things like people answering your last question, saying that nobody defended Haggart. I sure as hell saw a lot of that last night, though.
