I tell my daughter 15 yrs old this advise - "sit back relax and observe". He's popular be careful. He might hurt your feelings. Its great to go to class everyday and look forward to his smile but just think he might be smiling to other girls just like he does you. Just relax and see what "HIS" move will be "TO YOU" If he doesn't make a move enjoy his smile.

Yes hunny! Why be popular when you can have a heart! You are most likely way more attractive to him than you think, and that's where you beauty lies, my dear. It isn't that hard to be popular you just have to be shallow, cut throat, and have no sense of decency. I'd much rather be and always was much more odd than popular...its more sincere that way...
also if he said he was kidding he is totally covering his tracks, which means he meant it but he doesn't want his heartless popular friends to know it.
be careful though, sweety...have a nice time with him, but don't take it to heart if it doesn't work out, k?

best of luck!
::hugs::

does he wink and do little things like that a lot? He might say he's just joking, but being in the position before I'd say he likes you. But dont get all worked up, you dont want to get a broken heart, guys can be pretty big jerks.

First, give it a little more time. He might just want to be friends. But if he keeps talking to you and starts flirting, then he probably likes you.. I know probably no one wants to do this, but you could just flat out ask him. Which would you rather have, a little embarassment or the boy? Or also you could have a friend ask.. but I def. think you have a chance! Good luck!

You're only 13 and have the rest of your life to enjoy. Don't get bogged downs with boyfriends yet or worry about what they think. Bust your tail in school and have fun. These times are meant to be carefree.

hard to tell from jsut event....if this has only happened once so far i wouldnt be in such a rush to think he likes u...Wait and see what happens in the next couple of classes....If he still tries to talk to u and you see more positive responses from him...then theres a possiblity of him liking you...update us and let us know how things go =)

Sweety, worry about your grades now. There will be plenty of time for boys later.

But to answer your question some guys dont like girls but like girls to like them.

Don't fret over this youngin. At thirteen you shouldn't be worrying over boys. The answer is probably not.

first, don't think about love first, be friend with him first, see how things going, then decide if you have a chance with him.
