Well, if you are just starting to date, a movie is not the best choice. 2 hours sitting in the dark without talking is not a good way to get to know each other. There have been some very good suggestions here though: Skating rink Bowling Picnic Aquarium National Park Museum Miniature Golf I've even had a friend take his date to a shooting range. It was different and she had a wonderful time!

The lake under the stars, comedy shows, a game at a friend's house (cards, dominos, pictionary), the zoo, the museum, an outdoor jazz concert, an art festival etc.
An earlier comment said canoeing, try it. The more things that can go wrong on an outing leads to more things to talk/laugh about later.

well...cud b hundreds but d best 1 is to find a new hobby or something dat both of u enjoy or likes in common. then find sumwhere dat creates sweet memory for ur own dating spots like under d big tree in d park or d final lane at bowling centre, sumthin like dat. find a unique place

Parks, with swings. Beaches for walks. Window Shopping for sharing dreams. Sight seeing for an excuse to be together? Bowling for laughs at who sucks worse. lol Use your imagination, as long as your together the destination is minor. good luck!

depends how old you are. walking and talking just to get to know the person is the cheapest date and the best way to get to know the other person.
