the insurance is not in my name it was my grandmothers car and insurance but I am at no fault will the rates still increase tho?

I know the other person is totally 100% at fault because i've done gotten my police report and there was 1 witness who gave a statement

If it is official that it is not your fault and your insurance company thinks it's not your fault then your rates probably won't increase. if it is your own guess that it's not your fault - it is yet to be proven.

your insurance should not go up if it is the other person fault 100% their insurance will go up. take it from me i have been in 3 accidents in 1 year and 2 of them were my fault 100% if you are still in doubt go and talk to the insurance agent and they will answer your questions directly

I don't know exactly if it will. I was in 2 car accidents within 2 weeks, neither of them my fault but people are telling me no matter what my insurance is going to go up. I guess it depends on your state...

It shouldn't go up. I have seen minor increases in some rare cases but usually it doesn't go up.
