Bah humbug, was Scrooges way of sort of poopooing something that he did not like. Sort of a yuk, or a grumble, just a way of showing dislike for something!

humbug means : a sham, deception, nonsense. so 'bah humbug' what a lot of nonsense, rubbish or suchlike.'what a load of crap' would be another way of putting it politely.
