I just bought a daybed, but I haven't put it together yet. I want to go buy bedding for it, and I see some cute twin sets, but do I have to get special daybed bedding? Thanks

twin sheet work just fine unless it's an odd size

Yes twin sheets, etc. If you have the ultra thick mattresses, be sure to get the fitted sheet with deep pockets.
I used a comfortor/dust ruffle- it works better than a twin sized spread. Think about the back side- no place for the spread to hang down.

I am sure it depends on the bed itself. The one I just got rid of was a twin and the trundle that pulled out was also a twin bed. It popped up beside the other bed.

you will have to measure the bed area. It is probably twin size, but it depends on the manufacturer
