A child is the most work you will ever do, and the hardest. In my opinion, it is also the most worthwhile. It is your chance to bring a good and decent person into the world. It is one of the greatest learning experiences you will ever have, and just when you think you've learned it all, you will find there's something else that you hadn't considered. It's an impossible job that NOBODY ever does completely right, but if you have a child for the right reason - because you WANT to try your best to create a good human being - then there is nothing more challenging that you will ever undertake.

Unconditional LOVE!!!! Children are so honest & loving. It's the little things like the homemade Mother's Day cards, when your 6 year old makes you a peanut butter & jelly sandwich for lunch, when your 3 year old wants to "help" you do the laundry, kisses from an 18 month old, rocking a 9 month old to sleep at night - I could go on & on but I think you get the picture.

I have 2 kids, ages 3 & 5. Honestly I can't give you any tangible physical benefits. However, they are a constant source of joy, frustration, laughter, and challenge. I wouldn't have it any other way now. People say there are so many things you can't do after you have kids, and they are full of it. You just have to have a little more patience and be a lot more open minded.

My son is 28 and I have a life long friend who has enriched my life and kept me from being selfish and self serving. He has taught me compassion, joy and love. I would not for all the difficulties in raising him (such as a single parent) change much. He is a joy to enjoy and be proud of. But one must be ready for the YEARS of sacrifice that raising a child requires.

well i have asked myself that many of times. i had a baby when i was 16 and im 23 know. well ill tell you its been a long road. take the person you love the most. you would love your child more. when they are old enough to look at you and say i love you, never having to be alone, always something to do. knowing that you have something to live for something that makes you want to do your best. someone that will always love you no matter if you make bad chooses.

I never thought I could love someone as much as I love my son! He amazes me every day with the new things he learns. He gives me such pride and joy! I just don't know what I'd do without him. So I guess for me, I gained a whole lot!

there is a indescirbable sense of fufillment, i believe that with every single living thing our sole porpouse in life is to reproduce our DNA in this world there are a lot of kids who are neglected fathers being absent never having a fair chance from birth, its up to the smart people to raise their kids with good values and morals to inherit the planet, otherwise the human race will meet is demise

A new opportunity to laugh at yourself and hear how you really sound when you speak. Unfortunately, they usually repeat the stuff you don't want them to say in public.
