I have a trusted control panel extention for xitami web server and I just need to know where to put it for it to show up in control panel.

The file goes in C:\WINDOWS\system32 but it needs to be referenced in a few places in your registry. This operation can be pretty complex if you don't know what you're doing.

I would recommend you reverse-engineering other cpl files in the registry to figure it out.

You put it in windows/system or windows/system32 depending on your operating system. Windows/system for win 98 Windows/system32 for later systems.
