This database has Charles Foster Bancroft/Cornielia Dow with quite a substantial Bancroft tree. Charles Foster Bancroft was from Quebec but his ancestors originally came from England via Massachusetts. There seem to be other Bancrofts in this line that ended up in NH.

I work with a lady whose from Delaware with the last name DOW her husband is from Pennsylvania, he is mixed and his name is John Dow.
