The Winchester Model 1902 was manufactured between 1902 -1931.
90% 80% 70% 60% 50% 40% 30% 20%
$200 $150 $120 $100 $90 $80 $75 $65

The Winchester Model 1892 was manufactured between 1892-1941. Your serial # would indicate 1912 as the year of production.

90%----- 80% ---73%---60% 50% 40% 30%
$2000 $1500 $1300 $1000 $900 $750 $600

"bferg" must be using an old outdated copy of the Blue Book because all of his values are way under actual current values.

32WCF and 32-20WCF are the same.

bferg,
I've checked my back issues of Blue Book. There has been an upward trend in the value of Model 1892's going back to at least the 18th edition which even then (almost 10 yrs. ago) valued an 80% M-1892 at $1100..........$100 MORE than what your showing the value to be today. To believe the values you have listed, you would have to believe the bottom has fallen out of the vintage Winchester market. That hasn't happened.

When valuing guns or anything else for that mater, you need to apply common sense and not just blindly cut and paste numbers off a web site.

If your getting these values from the "ONLINE VERSION" all I can tell you is that they are just flat out wrong. If I where you, I'd ask for my money back.

BTW, I didn't give you the thumbs down.

I have been debating about whether to buy the online version for awhile now. This incident is certainly going to cause me to take pause and check out the discrepancies here. I just have a hard time believing a vintage 80% Winchester could drop fully 1/3 of it's value in one year.

LAST EDIT

Glad to hear it was just a small human error. I tip my hat to you for acknowledging the error and not just deleting your post.

2- Are you sure of the caliber? I don't see it listed as being chambered for the 32 WCF, but I do in 32-20 WCF.

MODEL 1892 RIFLE
