I'm trying to burn an image file to a blank CD-R, and everything is fine until I select Burn. Then it gives me the message "Please insert blank disk". I've got a blank disk in my drive and I have tried CD-R/RW in different companies, all to no previal.
I'm using Nero 6.6.0.13 and I've entered the serial number for the full install. Any help greatly appreciated.

edit: rebooted in safe mode to work on some spyware and i figured i'd try it out then. worked fine and i got my disks made. i havent tested to see if it'll work in normal mode now though.

Your CD burner is broken, you may need to buy a new one.

It sounds like there may be a problem with the burner. I would like to know more about what kind it? is it an internal or external drive? Is this the first time you have used this burner? Does your CD drive read other disks? You could also try uninstalling and reinstalling Nero. Perhaps your CD drive needs reinstalling.
