Plans for today, but she didn't call back?

Hi, well I ran into a friend of mine last Friday and that was the first time we saw each other for about three years. We had fun and enjoyed seeing each other again, so I got her phone number. I called her yesterday to just talk and see where the conversation went, and we talked for about 2-3 minutes, nothing too in depth. However she asked me to hang out today and she said she would call me to confirm the plans. However, as the day progressed, I did not get a phone call. I decided to call her, thinking maybe she thought I was going to call or something, but she didn't answer. I did not leave a message. What should I do? I think there is potential for me to really like this girl, but it just depends how we get along and what not. Should I wait a week and try one more time? Perhaps she just doesn't want to hang out today and she doesn't want to call and tell me what, for whatever reason? Any and all opinions are much appreciated. Thanks

Some questions to ponder: Is she already involved with someone else? Was it totally her idea to hang out today, or did you make a suggestion first? How long did you see each other when you ran into her at first? Hmmm. I say wait a week and give it one more try. There are numerous possiblitlies, and hard to second guess. She may have actually had some situation arise, needing to be somewhere else, or she simply wanted options and was leaving herself something to do in case whatever did not happen.....It is really impossible to know, if you are interested don't contact her for a week see if she calls you if not call. If it all goes the same way again - forget it.

No, don't wait a week. Call tonight if it's not too late or tomorrow.
You never know what may have happened.
And leave a message this time if she doesn't answer.
Give her your phone # again when you leave the message.
You don't have to play games. Maybe she even lost your number or mis-dialed or who knows what. Maybe an emergency came up. See my point? The honest straightforward approach is the best.
Just ask politely..."What happened? Thought we had a date."

She did say she would call to confirm the plans so it sounds like it was not a sure thing for that day. I would leave one message that says hey call me. Then the ball is in her court. If she doesn't call back then you have your answer. Don't bug her anymore. There is nothing there on her end if she does not respond.

maybe something came up and she cant. give it time. she may call if not call her in a bout a week like you said and then see where it goes!
