No dear; it is a preposterous hypothesis, thereby doubling the simplicity........

Hypothesis:
1. a. An assumption or concession made for the sake of arguement;
b. An interpretation of a practical solution or condition taken as the ground for action.
2. A tentative assumption made in order to draw out and test its logical or empirical consequences.
3. The antecedant clause of a conditional statement.

When used in the scientific field, "hypothesis" is used in conjunction with "theory" and "law". "Hypothesis" implies insufficient evidence to provide more than a tentative explanation. "Theory" implies a greater range of evidence and a greater likelihood of truth. "Law" implies a statement of order and relation in nature that has been found to be invariable under the same conditions.

NO. Christianity cannot be classified as a hypothesis. Hard evidence of many historical events has been presented and recorded. The resulting beliefs (whether positive or negative) in the individual are based on the personal interpretation (often resulting from bias) of the given data. We cannot test the veracity of the story of Jesus (or ANY given historical figure, whether religious or not) the same way we can determine "Ivory soap floats". The terms hypothesis, and furthermore, theory and law, cannot therefore apply.

No, Christianity is not a hypothesis. It is not a testable or logical interpretation made for the sake of argument. You can't argue with "because the bible says so." I forgot who said it, but "religion is intellectual laziness.

hypothesis:
1 a : an assumption or concession made for the sake of argument b : an interpretation of a practical situation or condition taken as the ground for action
2 : a tentative assumption made in order to draw out and test its logical or empirical consequences
3 : the antecedent clause of a conditional statement

Christianity is Truth. Whole world is the undeniable hard evidence if you accept. Life does not make sense without God.

In the Beginning God created heavens and earth.
God gives you air to breathe and sunshine to enjoy.
God gives you water to drink and food to eat.
God gives you a wonderful body and sound mind, to live.
God loves you, and you are precious to Him.
Son of God died on the Cross to save us from condemnation.
Jesus’ love is boundless and everlasting.
We have the hope of Heaven through Jesus.
Life therefore has fantastic and glorious future!
(Digestion of above can even prevent depression and suicidal thoughts.)

No sense no feeling.
Another Atheist trying cheap insults.

Hard evidence is all over the Holy Land.

Life is a Theory.

Hmm, I guess this is a good question, Albeit one not many Christians will answer rationally.

I would say it is a realistic hypothesis, There are SOME evidences, but like with any idea, you have to accept the presumptions. I wont list any "proofs" ( i am sure others will )but I will tell you why I say it is "realistic"

BILLIONS of people think there is a God. They claim to have had supernatural experiences. Now..... either they are all delusional liars ( i find this unreasonable to assume ) OR 'something' is happening to them to cause them to say "this is real". So the only question is "what is that 'something' "

This can also be applied to UFO and NDE and OBE phenomena.

Wether there is "proof" or not is debateable, But it would be silly to say "nothing has happened to them" Too many people claim it for ALL of them to be lying.

Hypotheses are testable. Christianity is just a thought, or an idea.

All religion is a hypothesis- that is, has no scientific, testable evidence to prove it either way. And that's fine- that's the definition of religion, but it's not science, and it's not proven.

It is a real lifestyle. It's been proven many a way. I don't doubt an uneducated person like you hasn't heard of the Dead Sea Scrolls.
