Two sandwiches I make regularly (one specifically for me as a vegetarian that my kids also love, and one that my kids love), and a weekly filling for either wraps or pitas: 1. On 8 grain or 5 seed bread (or what you like/have on hand), add mayo, sliced red onions, thinly sliced english or regular cucumbers, sliced avocado, spouts, thinly sliced tomato, salt/pepper, and provolone cheese. This is also delicious in a tortilla wrap, or in pita bread. 2. On good bread, add mustard (can use 2 different kinds on each side, or even some horseradish spread on one side and mustard on the other), diced onion/garlic or dill pickles, turkey pastrami and/or salami, shredded lettuce, and provolone or cheddar cheese. My kids love this. 3. A stuffing for wraps or pitas is: Meat from 1 rotisserie chicken diced, red onion diced, and creamy ceaser dressing (Paul Newman's is a good one). You add as much onion to your liking, as well as dressing. This is also wonderful in Pita's, and I have also served it with shredded cabbage or lettuce.
