It could be as early as 6 months, but 8-9 months is more typical. Vets recommend that the surgery be performed at six months to prevent anything from happening. Better safe than sorry. Domestic dogs will cycle about twice a year. And you may not always be able to tell that she is in heat. During the first phase, proestrus, which might last little more than a week, there'll be bloody discharge. The estrus phase will last 5-7 days and the discharge may be brown. During estrus she'll be fertile. But female dogs in heat are very fastidious about grooming themselves, and you may not notice the discharge at all. The behavior won't typically change like in cats. I'd have her spayed at six months just to be absolutely safe.

It depends on the breed of dog, anywhere between 6 months and 1 year old, but that also varies in the breed itself. The first signs will be swelling, then bleeding for 7 to 10 days, then a yellowish discharge for about 4 or 5 days (this is the time that your "dog" will accept breeding) then the swelling will reduce. The whole process lasts about 21 days and happens approx. every 6 months.

You can ask your vet.

There is some variation in the age at which dogs reach sexual maturity. Small breeds appear to mature faster than large ones, which usually cycle later. It is not uncommon for large-breed females to come into heat for the first time at more than 1 year of age, although 8 to 9 months is the norm. Dogs are sexually mature between 6 months and 1 year but are not socially mature until…http://www.britannica.com/eb/article-15467/dog

When will my dog come into heat?
First heat can vary greatly dog to dog. The youngest is about six months of age though sometimes a female will come into season younger. First heat can start as late as 12 or even 14 months of age or later in rare cases. Again, it can vary dog to dog. Spaying at six months is recommended before a female begins to enter sexual maturity. Some vets will spay younger and spaying of puppies as young as eight weeks old who are up for adoption in shelters is becoming more popular.

How often will my dog come into heat?
Again, this varies dog-to-dog – average is every six months but it could be more or less often.

How long does heat least?
This again can vary. The average is three weeks (21 days). But it can be shorter (two weeks) or longer (four weeks). Assume the longer period if in doubt.

They usually come in heat between 6 mo and a yr. Could be sooner or later. You should have her spayed and you wouldn't have to worry about all of that.
