I have been in your position when i was in high school. I was very lonely...(the girl who sat alone at the lunch table). I had two friends, and both of them ALWAYS had boyfriends, and i always felt like the thrid wheel. So i went through most of my highschool years being lonely. But i am now 21, and i have friends that i met through work, and i have a wondderful boyfriend of 2 years.
Just remember, that the best years of your life are yet to come. If you are feeling lonely, try getting a hobby, like drawing, or playing an intrument. And to get boys to notice you, you just have to be yourself. The right boys will come along. Don't be like my friends were, and dress slutty to get the boys attention. You will regret it later. I hope you feel better soon.

First off, a true friend should never blow you off for a boy. When I was younger I lost a lot of friends cause they all wanted to spend time with there boyfriends only & when things would go bad they would come around & I didn't want that kind of friendship. They will learn too. You should put yourself out there; be outgoing & try to meet new people. If you see a boy that you may like, introduce yourself & see what happends next. I am sure someone at some point had a crush on you! My mother use to say "the prettiest girl stays home on a friday night" it means most boys are intimidated to ask out the "pretty girl".. Good luck & keep your head high.

You sound like you're an awesome friend. You won't always be a third wheel. Right now, things are working out for your friends, and it will happen to you. It's easy to feel like it will never happen, but it does. Unfortunately sometimes it takes longer for some than others. My best advice is to find something you really like to do, a hobby or a sport or an interest and get involved with it. Then you'll start meeting people who share your same interests. Before you know it, you'll be so busy enjoying YOU that you'll be bound to capture someone else's attention. Good luck, you sound like you're a great person.

Okay, i see where your coming from. Why don't you ask them if you can come too. And if they say no don't get offended they probably like to be alone. What you mean you never had a guy like you before. Ofcourse one has at one time at another. All you gotta do is be patient. Before you know it you will have one too. But you gotta ask yourself one quick question... Why do you want a boyfriend for? Because your friends have one? boyfriends/girlfriends come and go. They might even go for your friends. But if you really have your heart set on getting one just be patient and act interested in a guy. Like you know how you girls do make eye contact then look away. Good Luck

Lame weekends happen.
If you are a sophomore, then you are what, 14 or 15? These friends of your have boyfriends right now, but these relationships don't last. Hang in there, someone will come along for you. That won't last forever, either, but eventually you will find someone who is right for you.

seriously if u think a boy is going to solve your problems get a clue, harsh i know but ur young boys will come and go its easier to find something else to do. Besides just cause your friends have bf's dont me they dont want to hang out with u and best off all it probably wont last long so dont worry bout it. try hanging out with your family i know they can be boring at times but give em a chance they may surprise u. Also try sports they have always helped me keep myself unbored.

dont worry!
your not alone at all!
i mean im a a small group of girls and sure i have like friend out of my small group but my small group of girls are the ones i hang around with all the time.
and they all are pretty and have boyfriends and man i always feel like a third wheel! and always alone. like when im at home i think i wonder what my mates are doing? then i realise they are with their boyfriends. its upsetting but the best thing to do is not get jealos coz like it just makes your friendship worse if one of you is terribly jealos of the other! maybe instead of joining clubs maybe just try and make new friends around school. and if you want a boyfriend, try and become friends with your friends boyfriends friends. coz their bound to have some mates who will like you!
hope this helped and made sense!

i was the same way at your age...take heart...this is all experience (yes the loneliness, and boredom!) for the game of life. believe it or not, once you are out of high school, you will change and blossom. you most likely will be a compassionate, caring and understanding person.......unlike some of the plastic, phony people. hang in there, your time to shine will soon come!!!
