Will I ever get over it & just let it go?

How can I do this when it bothers me so much?

My own mother hates me,to be quite frank I don't feel too great about her either (see past questions).

My mother is turning my brother & sisters against me.

I feel constantly let down.Is it normal to only want to depend on yourself for fear of disappointment?

The whole lot of them upset my dad today for acting like they didn't even want to know him & its all my mothers fault. He's the best dad in the world & they are so cruel to him.

I know I'm rambling a bit but I'm so annoyed,I need to get all the frustration out before I explode!

i have two suggestions. one, get professional counseling, it helped me. Through that i came across a great book about forgiveness. I had issues with my parents, but was able to forgive them after reading this book, "You can heal your life" by Louise Hay. It is new age-ish but I ignored that part of it.

And independence is a good thing but kinda lonely. When you trust others you open yourself up to being hurt by them, which is scary.

Best of luck to you.

I am unsure of what may lie ahead for you in terms of resolving your family issues but you are able to walk away from mean people as you feel you need to. From what I understand your mother is giving you and you father trouble.Personally I understand your situation and I would not just walk away but stay away too. No offense but it sounds as if your mother has issues that only she can resolve with help! I say be independant if you feel its best for your own sanity.

you will get over it..... in time... your mother does not
hate you, she may not show you any love right now......
but she does love you..... always......
it's something I went through also.. with my family.......
took a while, had to be strong and always stand behind
your dad....... , and mom ,...... love will eventually prevail.....
I promise...... IT WILL GET BETTER.......
TIME..... LOVE......SUPPORT.....
