The ones you list:

swabs, dipstick (?urine collection), injections (?are you talking about venepuncture and drawing blood?), settle plates

Swabs
incl: pap smear and cyto-brush samples
endocervical smear for chlamydia
Scrapings - skin scraping, nail scrapings for microscopy (fungi and yeasts)

Faecal specimen from rectal examination

Aspiration of fluid
Blood: venipuncture, arterial puncture (bone marrow biopsy)
Nasopharyngeal aspirate
Fluid aspiration (from blister, cyst, ascites (abdomen paracentesis), lung (pleuracentesis), soft tissue eg. abscess or joint effusion)
Catheter aspiration of urine
Needle aspiration of urine (bladder tap)

Biopsy
incisional - where a section of the tissue is cut out
excisional - where the diseased tissue is cut out in its entirety (usually in cancers)
NB - biopsies can be taken in a variety of different ways depending on where the tissue of the body is including: direct biopsy (usually tissues on the skin - skin cancers etc), from operations, using endoscopic or laparoscopic techniques, needle biopsy (where a large bore needle is passed through the tissue and cells aspirated with a syringe usually)

Cooperative samples
Urine specimen
Faecal specimen
Sputum specimen
Saliva
Hair
