I live in southern california and I'm looking for a used 2001-2004 chevy silverado 2500HD(with the duramax and the allison tranny). Can anyone tell me why they are soo hard to find in my area?? If anyone has any ideas, please share. (For the record I have tried many different websites that have given me very few options.) Please help!!

If people buy them they keep them. I have to start out with less than I wanted. Then I worked with a dealer to contact me when Someones trade in arrived.

It is a popular vehicle with limited production (specifically the transmission) and anytime one shows up on a used car lot, people snag them quickly. They don't have time to show up on the web.

What you need to do is go to a dealership and tell them what you want. The dealership will locate you one and bring it to you.
