I grew up Catholic but I chose to not have any religion at some point. Honestly it bored the heck out of me. Now I do find the study of relgions fascinating, just not the belief in one.

Make the choice not to choose!

First believe, then realise, then KNOW, you have the power over religion if you do not realise this never will you find that which you seek.

Religions are not regarded or respected by ALL so what purpose will they serve you.. Rather become passers-by and seek the truth all religions profess.

was raised VERY conservative southern baptist.
I still believe in God, I still believe in Jesus
I do not believe that the Bible(beyond the first 4 books) is 100% God's word and therefore irrelevant to my faith.
In my opinion people of faith no longer ask God the hard questions nor do they bother to wait for an answer from God. THEY ASK OTHER MORTAL IMPERFECT MEN== and that in my opinion is the problem.
The hypocrisy of what is real and just versus what is popular and unjust. The scriptures being used to defend one thing but yet ignoring something else in the same scriptures is ridiculous!!!!!

Christians have used the Bible to justify slavery, supression of the rights of people of color and women, and any other nonlike minded minority they think they can oppress without public outcry. I guess glbt are just the current christian coalitions victims.

I promote TOLERENCE of all kinds-religious, cultural, sexual....

I am a deist who happens to also believe that Jesus did exist.

I chose to be a Muslim because it was the only religion that seemed to be logically true. I wasn't always a Muslim, and I've read about a lot of other religions, Christianity (in many forms), and a lot of others, but Islam was the only religion that really stood out for humanity, and the life that is perfectly set for man kind.

I was raised Southern Baptist....studied many religions(college). Really liked Buddhism...it fit's me best. While I do not consider myself a Buddhist...I do follow the main tenets of Buddhism. For me it's more of a life philosophy rather than a religion.

Christianity teaches that Jesus loves us and died for us although we are sinners. Anyone choosing not to trust Him after hearing the Truth is choosing death. Christianity is also the only religion that promises eternal life, none other do.

I was raised Catholic.

I believe that a religion is nothing more than a cult. Therefore, I choose not to have a religion, but to have a thirst for knowledge and truth. I'm not a follower.

I'm a Catholic convert. I chose my religion because I love the Eucharist and feel closest to God during the Mass. I also love the traditions and the rituals of Catholicism.

My religion fits my spiritual needs as closely as any church can.

Edit:

I see someone has issues with anyone who actually loves their religion. You can do all the thumbs-down that you like, folks, but that doesn't change my love for my faith and my church.

I was raised without a religion. After experimenting with a few religions, I chose Deism because it seemed logical and felt right to me.

I was raises a Baptist, left at the age of 15. Spent a number of years on the Wiccan path and I am now an Agnostic.

I choose Agnosticism because to me it makes the most sense.
