I have tried and it worked great for me. I lost thirty five pounds in two weeks. It was like you could almost see the fat melting off. All I did was to keep my carbs at twenty five grams or less per day and when I got to my ideal weight I gratualy added back some carbs till I leveled off. I did not eat anything that was made with flour and anything that had sugar or anything that potatoes in it. Everything else you could eat. It was the easiest diet I ever done. Do it. It will work.

I used the Atkin's program a few years ago and I lost about 35 pounds. Unfortunately, I turned out to be one of the stats because once I stopped eliminating carbs all of the weight came back and then some. I tried the program again just over a year ago and for whatever reason my body just didn't respond to the program and I didn't lose any weight. Bottom line is that for me, it isn't a program that I can live by. I think that this is the reason that the company ultimately had to file for bankruptcy protection. The no carb industry has pretty much gone belly up.I've gone back to the basics of reduced portions and excercise and this will hopefully keep the weight off for good.

Tried it. Lost 7 pounds in 3 weeks but the minute I stopped It I gained 14 back. I suggest any diet that target 2-4 lbs per month as a sensible goal.

I have know people that have lost weight but gained it all back, if you can do a diet for life it's not worth doing. Weight Watchers works but to find some pros and cons go to www.faddiets.com. It has been discussed that Dr. Atkins actually died from his own diet

It was horrible. It made me sick. I found out the hard way that there is no short cut. Working out and watching what you eat is the best way. Not the easiest, but it seems to be the only one that works & keeps working.

My wife tried it, and lost a lot of weight. But she could not stay on it, and gained it all back.
