Why do you want to jump from one belief to another belief? I would advice you to go beyond all beliefs and honestly seek the truth and understanding.

I guess it works both ways. I know people who were high priest in the Satanic Church and Atheists who turned and became Christians. I also know many Christians who fell away and became Atheists and some joined the church of Satan. But, God leaves the door open for all through Christ Jesus. And God gives each person that choice. We will not be able to blame others on this call, though many may try.
Reading what many have said; it probably true that a real Christian would not turn away. In John 10:27-30 Jesus says His sheep listen to His voice and no one will take them from Him.

To the first question the answer is a definite yes.
The second question is a bit different.
The person may call them self a Christian but the question is are they really. the Bible only talks about two types of people those who are saved and those who are yet to be saved.
In his parables Jesus has a common theme. True and false conversion. Those who are converted and those who are not. There is no room for people to get converted then to be unconverted.
These people may have all the outworking of being a Christian but if you look at the parable of the sower they may be what is called stony ground hearers. They receive the good news with joy and gladness, are very enthusiastic for a time and then they fall away. They are not really a convert they are just trying something new and exciting.
The question is are you a Christian. Test yourself.

It works both ways. Someone can become a Christian after being an atheist. Christians can also become atheists if they flat out deny God and curse His name. I do know this has happened to at least one person that I have known. This lady was an outstanding Christian person and always went to church. Something happened, and she seemed to have turned into Satan's follower after the change.

Yes if one is a Christian and they get cheated by so many in the church and they are tired of the untruth they find in the manipulated doctrines many become atheists. That's just the trick of Maya or the Devil. I know many who where atheists who when they found the Christian Essenes became Christians because they where looking for truth and found it. I am a former Christian who became an atheist, and I know several Christians in this forum who were once atheists themselves. It goes both ways.

Yes, but you have to return your secret atheist decoder ring to the Atheist Underground. And Christians who become atheist have to stop ending their posts with orders to God to bless someone.

If they get hit over the head real hard they might.
And as far as Christians becoming atheist, they'll have to learn how to control their morals and function with the new understanding that just because there is no God, doesn't mean you are free to commit crimes.

Sure someone can be a Christian, no matter what their past.
Can Christians turn into atheists? I don't know, I'd probably assume they hadn't been honest with themselves about what they believed, because once you truly see, you don't go back.

First question: Indeed. Happens a lot.
Second question: No. Either one knows Christ or not. If someone who formerly identified as a Christian becomes an atheist, he or she never knew Christ in the first place, but merely identified with a religion for some particular illegitimate reason(s).
