she was a little drunk though, do you think it was alcoholic? Or are all Strawberry Daiquiris alcoholic? She got it from the bar. I thought it was just a smoothy after I tasted it.

Daiquiris are normally made with alcohol, but there are also virgin daiquiris without, so you just can't tell from tasting it. Though if she was drunk and she brought it from a bar it is likely it had booze in it. I don't think it was a good thing to give a minor alcohol, but I doubt the little you tasted was enough to get you even slightly buzzed. Most cold/flu medicines have more alcohol than you got a taste of from the "smoothie."
In fact my mother used brandy on my gums when I was teething as an infant. In moderation it doesn't hurt no matter what the age. But if you got drunk and had a hangover the next morning then I would worry about this friends mother's influence on you. If you think it was wrong don't accept any more drinks from her.

It could have been a virgin strawberry daiquiri (which is non-alcoholic). I've had both and you can tell the difference. The alcoholic drink will have a stronger taste to it (like theres something added to it but you don't know what.. well thats the Alcoholic lol). But don't worry there's not much alcoholic in what you had if it was alcoholic. I'm 16 and the only reason I had the alcoholic strawberry daiquiri was because they brought me the wrong drink at Outback Steakhouse. I like the strawberry daiquiri without the alcoholic better and I also don't drink. But be careful in the future you never know.

I wouldn't worry...it was probably just a non-alcoholic "virgin" strawberry daiquiri. Since you seem to be concerned about drinking alcohol without knowing what it was, and you say you thought it was just a smoothie after tasting it, I think you would definitely know if there was alchohol in it, especially if you've never had it before. You can tell from the smell as well as the taste. Besides, despite being a little drunk, I don't think your friend's mother would risk getting into trouble by giving you alcohol, especially in a public place. Neither would the bartender.

If there actually was alchohol in it... guess what... its not the end of the world. Youre not going to become an alcholholic because of one strawberry daiquiri. Not to mention, the alchohol content of a non-virgin strawberry daiquiri couldnt get an eight year old drunk... which by the way, is exactly what you sound like.

It probably had some booze in it. Strtawberry Daiquiris are obviously fruity, but that covers up the alcoholic taste, so you might not have known. Pretty tasty though, huh???

Not all daiquiris are alcoholic. They're called "virgin daiquiris" or margaritas or whatever the drink is.
Chance are that if the bartender saw you and realized that you were underage, he wouldn't risk his liquor license by serving you alcohol. Your drink was probably just a virgin daiquiri.

You can get a virgin daiquiri.....one without the alcohol. Did you taste the alcohol?

well if you tasted Alcohol then it probably was alcoholic but if not then your good to go. They usually put vodka in daiquiris. And its a strong white liquor so I'm sure you would've tasted it.

You can get a virgin strawberry daquari. Its simply blended strawberries, sugar, and ice with perhaps a little juice. The alcohol versions contain rum, but generally in pretty small amounts. I wouldn't worry about it.

Well if she was drunk, then yes it prolly had some alcohol in it...Which won't really hurt u..but did u drink it all and if so...why would u drink something without knowing what it was? And yes where are your parents? I hope she is not driving u anywhere...
oh and no...not all of them contain alcohol..
