I don't know about life after death. I mean, who does. Having faith in a god is not having proof. By definition faith is trust without proof. Those that insist that they know for sure because of some book written by people they don't know in a language they can't speak are very brave. To depend on absolutes and anchor your understanding of yourself and the world around you in certainties that you can in no way be certain of, is a risky endeavor. All of the brightest minds of the 13th century were so sure that the earth was flat and that a person would be in danger of falling off the edge if they sailed too far west. And it was once a crime to suggest that the Earth was not the center of the universe with the sun, stars, and planets revolving around us. And all along the eastern seaboard when the states were still colonies of England the very people who started what would become the United States of America began killing men, women and children in the name of God. The very people they sat in church with on Sunday, or traded goods with on a daily basis. They were just as sure about there right to kill these witches (and that there were witches) as some people are that God loves us so much that he gave his only son in payment of our sins. And left us the choice to burn in a fire pit of eternal suffering or walk with him.
No I don't know about life after death, but I know there is life after fish tacos and canned corn.

Hi VHCA, You bet there's life after death. Some of us are lucky enough to go to heaven. It's a beautiful place of calm and peace,no pain,just happiness. My mom is in heaven and she watching over me and my 2 brothers.All my grandparents are there,some friends and all the pets i ever had. Yes there is life after death, and my mom is waiting for me to join her when my time is up.Peace, no pain and happiness,we all deserve to have this dead or alive. I truely believe this. A Friend.

Definitely yes. Our souls remain after our body dies. The question is were does this soul go?......I think there are the alive, the dead and the in-between. There are souls who do not know they have died that stay on earth wandering. There is also the theory of reincarnation. It says that we have been in this life many times. Every time we learn something new till we get to perfection

why do you ask? since you asked this question in mental health, i have to ask you how often do you think about death, and (sorry if I am getting the wrong impression).
life sometimes feels like a rollercoster, you just have to hang on for the ride.

You have to have faith that it does. No one has died and lived to tell about it (you know what I mean) so there is no proof that there is. That's what belief and faith are. I believe that there is life after death.

When Jesus died he went to sleep
When Lazarus died he went to sleep
When the child died he went to sleep
When resurrected there were no stories of heaven or a burning place.
When Job was in agony heartbroken because his 10 children were killed and his health deteriorated he asked God to let him go to hell and be remembered in the ressurection.

There is a law in physics. Energy cannot be created or destroyed, it can only be changed. Everything is made of some form of energy. I truly sense that we have nothing to fear.
