This refers to the good news of the Kingdom of God and of salvation by faith in Jesus Christ. It is called in the Bible “the good news of the kingdom” (Mt 4:23), “the good news of God” (Ro 15:16), “the good news about Jesus Christ” (Mr 1:1), “the good news of the undeserved kindness of God” (Ac 20:24), “the good news of peace” (Eph 6:15), and the “everlasting good news” (Re 14:6).
It includes all the truths about which Jesus spoke and the disciples wrote. While men of old hoped in God and had faith through knowledge of Him, God’s purposes were first “made clearly evident through the manifestation of our Savior, Christ Jesus, who has abolished death but has shed light upon life and incorruption through the good news.”
The good news is the touchstone by which mankind is judged: Acceptance of and obedience to the good news result in salvation; rejection and disobedience bring destruction.
Jesus’ disciples asked him, “What will be the sign of your presence and of the conclusion of the system of things?” In his answer Jesus enumerated certain things due to occur at that time. He said, among other things: “This good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come.” (Mt 24:3, 14) In the Revelation given to the apostle John about 96 C.E., John saw an “angel flying in midheaven” who had “everlasting good news to declare as glad tidings to those who dwell on the earth, and to every nation and tribe and tongue and people, saying in a loud voice: ‘Fear God and give him glory, because the hour of the judgment by him has arrived.’” (Re 14:6, 7) These inspired statements indicate that in the “last days” there would be an unparalleled proclamation of the good news of the Kingdom.

Gospel means good news. The good news is that God did take on human form to provide a way for us to have salvation.
There is no logical reason for this...other then HIS love for us. The only possible way to understand this is the love GOD has placed in a parents heart for his or her child. A loving parent would give their life to save their child. They would exchange places with their child to take their pain and punishment.
It is hard for anyone that KNOWS God in an intimate relationship to understand why GOD loves us...it is nearly impossible for those who do not know HIM. Still, many of the great hymns and songs of Christianity focus on this very theme....the Wonder of it ALL is one of them...the wonder of wonders that thrills my soul, is the wonder that God loves me....

God always keeps a promise and fulfills His prophecies, Thus He had to humble himself as a ransom for the sins of man so that He could buy His people back. He gave us free will which caused us to sin so everything after was necessary to redeem us.

God is a loving God and didn't want us to suffer the consequence of sin.
God is a just God and could not allow sin to continue unpunished.
Therefore He paid the price for mankind - thereby restoring a relationship with all who would believe

Jesus is not God. Jesus was referred to as the second Adam. He was a spirit creature in heaven with his Father, God. He came to earth to replace Adam as the father of all humans who will accept him as such. He had to live and die faithful and present the value of his perfect human life to his Father in heaven in order for all of us to be able to be bought back from the sin and death we inherited from Adam.

He likes company too.
You know what happens when you meet a soul mate? both multiply their energy.
He wants you to be like him because he thinks it is a good state to be in.
