This may not be helpful to you at all, as I am a middle-aged man. I wish I had waited. I was 18 at the time and thought she was 'the one' because she was the first girl who seemed interested in me.
I really thought she loved me as much as I did her. I ended up marrying her and we had two great kids. After 18 years together, she left me, then told our kids and almost everyone we came to know during our marriage, that she never loved me in the first place. I was incredulous, but life goes on. I am now in a VERY non-traditional long-distance relationship, which is currently getting difficult for both parties.
Marriage may always be an issue for me in the future, as I don't want to go through that pain again. Final answer: Yes...its too late for you and I, but for others I suggest waiting until you meet the 'right one' and it may save you a lot of grief later on.

The times they have changed!! It is difficult to find a virgin anymore. Most (I think the last study was something like 75% of 16 or older) have experimented with sex and it hasn't hurt them. (SAFE SEX for experimenters!!!) Someone who thinks they have to have sex with everyone they date to be "popular" is dating the wrong people. Dating is a way to establish compatibility. Sex is not!
I don't regret any of my sexual encounters, but I am a guy and we tend to think about that differently than the girls. There were a few times when the timing/location could have been thought out better, but those are things learned over time.

I regret having sex with my husband every night, its a yawn!!! But no, I never regretted the loss of my virginity, although it certainly wasn't the ideal candidate as most people would say I'm sure.

I really regretted it. I was 15 and it was @ a party with a guy that I hardly knew. The only thing that was good about it is that we are friends now b/c of of it.
I wish I had waited till I met my fiancee cuz I love him and we are getting married next summer.

I regrettet not waiting, I lost it to a jerk but I really liked someone else that I thought did not like me. The jerk is gone and I ended up marring the guy I thought did not like me! so I could have lost my virginity to my husband (we started dating at 17 and married way later) that would have been cool.

Yes, I regret my first. After our first time, he said he wanted to see other people...and that's the last time we saw each other at all. I believe he was seeing me only for one thing...and unfortunately, I compromised my standards, and gave it away. I regret giving that part of me to him. It's something I can never take back.

I regret my decision, only because I was afriad my parents would find out. And I still haven't told them. But it really depends on you as a person.
