First, remember that Americans represent North America, Central America and South America! The people of the USA are not the only Americans. However, I understand what you meant.
Anyone from anywhere would do the same thing for their family. WE do not blame or dislike Mexicans for protecting their families!
The problem is that so many are taking advantage of what the USA has to offer and giving nothing back. They do not want to become legal citizens and yet they want full rights! It ain't gonna happen!!!
Become legals and enjoy everything this great country has to offer you. Otherwise, turn your sorry butts around and go home!
What could be simpler?
As a second thought ... a large part of our (USA) oil comes from Mexico. Think about it! I'm sure we could work some sort of deal. Then again, why does the Mexican citizen not do something about this. It's time for Mexicans to stand up for their rights in their own country! Heck, the USA might even help you!
IMHO,

Well, THAT is a very loaded queston to ask Americans. Mexicans crossing the border to work illegally in the states takes away job oppurtunites for citizens and ups the cost of ER bills because we are paying for those that don't have insurance who stumble into the ER and by law have to be treated. But to be honest, if my family were starving and there were no other way, I would go where I thought I could better them and I would find what way I could to make sure that they survived, even if I didn't. I think that America should do something about the illegal immigration issue that is at hand, but I have compassion for those living in poverty in other countries who are desperate.

I am a mexican, I need to get food for my family, I have no education, I am poor because I never had the courage to stand-up to my thieving government, I am a coward like the rest of my countrymen, I love the putas all my life, but now I want to go to America where my family can eat, go to school, and get money from the government for free. I can live in my cousin Miguel's house, while my wife and kids live in a shelter, so I can make more American dollars, while I sell marrijuna I smuggle over the border from my amigo's Jorge, y Javier , oh yeah I love that stuff! I will sneak my wife away uno time a week, and make muy bambino's! Stupido, Americano's, MUY Grande por mi!
Para your cousin, Juan Garcia
De Nada Ms Pearl, you are a nice missionary lady to help me write this letter to me familia in La. You give us mucho, now we get TODO, y no have to work again! Gracias me Dios!

Create my own job. That is what made America great. We get people together that are out of work and we create something that is needed. Cut a tree down and start carving canes or shine shoes or fix cars. There is always something. It isn't Mexicans without jobs that are the problem, it's the Mexican government not letting businesses do what they need to do. Too many crooked politicians. It's also starting to happen in the US. Maybe we should start crossing the border into Mexico.

First off, l would not have children I could not support. It doesn't make any sense, to me, to bring children into poverty, particularly when preventing pregnancy is not at all difficult. So my wife and I would only be fending for ourselves.
But, ok, hypothetically speaking, I'd try to find options for education. Seek out others in my community who could teach me skills, maybe trade/pool resources with others in my predicament to grow food, share knowledge, etc.
I'd find out what skills were marketable in my country, and I'd find a way to acquire them.
I'd also move to an area--within my country--that would provide more opportunities. And I would agitate, organize, educate, and hound everyone I knew into pushing for political changes that would make a better life and better future for my country.
Next, if I decided I had to leave my country, I'd take the steps I needed to take to go to another country. Legally.
So, assume I'm not doing the above, and I decide to enter another country illegally. I know what I'm doing is illegal, and why I'm doing it. I do it anyway, knowing ahead of time that I'll get arrested and sent back if I'm caught. I accept that risk.
What I don't do is blame the country I illegally enter for enforcing their laws. It was a calculated risk I took, and I knew it.

Yeah i see where you are going with this. I dont have a problem with Mexicans or anyone coming to America for work. HOWEVER HERE IS WHAT I DO HAVE A PROBLEM WITH. IMMIGRANTS AND ILLEGALS CAN GET AND DO GET FREE MEDICAL TREATMENT. THEY DONT HAVE TO PAY. I know this from personal experience. I had a mexican friend who had a very large medical bill and he explained how he gets out of having to
pay. WHat did he do? he simply moved with no forwarding
adress. Hell I saw his fake ID and everything. Now what does that do for honest hard working Americans? It raises their insurance rates. Right now i cannot get medical insurance but any illegal in my town can go get medical treatment and not be held responsible for paying it. I also know of illegals getting public aid food stamps. yessir come to America the land of milk and honey

I guess I would do what plenty of Americans do who have no jobs. Yes, there are millions of Americans right now with no jobs. They get whatever benefits they are entitled to and take whatever work they can find. Whether it is on a day to day basis or not. I met an unemployed man who walked about 8 miles every day into New York City. He went through garbage cans and bags to collect soda, water and beer bottles that he could turn in to get the deposits. He would walk back home in the dark every night and give the money to his wife to buy milk, bread and rice for his children. He never broke any law or did anything illegal.

I have yet to see one starving Mexican come over the border. they look very healthy to me. And their is work in Mexico you might have to go to another state to find it, but most don't they just come here. Mexico is facing a work shortage right now, because half of their population is here. When their was a depression in the United States in the 1930, people lost their homes, farms, their was no work in their state or communities they left and went to another state to find work, they waited in soup lines for hours to get a little food, they worked the fields for little money, people were throwen out into the streets, They didn't go running to Mexico or Canada they stayed in their own country and did small jobs for little pay, If my children were hungry I would travel from state to state until I found a job, I would not go to Mexico or Canada. I don't understand why the Mexicans that are coming her are so disrespectful to our country and our flag. They come here illegally, work illegally, and get free health care and food stamps. and then fly the Mexican flag, just dose not make since, they are the rudest and the most disrespectful people to ever come here.

First I would try to apply legally, then I would cross the border. But that doesn't justify it. I'm not a mexican, and I did not cross illegally. I have every right to complain. What they did was against the law, so it was wrong.

I'd apply for a green card, send the kids to live (temporarily) with relatives, and try to find a job for myself and my husband. When I got the green card, I'd go to the United States with my husband and start working to get an apartment, get a nice supply of food, etc. When everything was ready, I'd get the kids back as soon as their school year ended and bring them to the states. (After paying back the relatives for any money spent on the kids, of course.)
