If you bought a lemon, then the extended warranty will come in handy. But if the Mazda is a normal one, it will just be broken in at 100K miles. If it covers everything except maintenance, it could be well spent, but chances are,you wouldn't spend $1500 on warranty related repairs within the 7-Years.

Mazda is 3 and 36 I think? It may be worth it. It will be about $30 a month on a 5 year loan if that helps. Also, that $1500 price tag IS negotiable. If you get it, don't pay $1500. And be sure it is a Mazda warranty, not a 3rd party warranty. If it's 3rd party, tell em to shove it and ask about a Mazda ext warranty. If you could get it for 1k I'd say do it.

Extended warranties are a total waste of money. You would be money ahead to just bank $1,500.00 and keep your new car in top condition. If, heaven forbid, something were to break after the factory warranty is gone you will have the money to fix it. The reality is there is seldom anything that will break on a modern, well kept vehicle that will exceed 2K to repair, i.e; transmission, brake failure, head gasket replacement, etc. Believe me, if your Mazda doesn't break in the first 60,000 miles there is a very good chance it will deliver well over 150,000 miles.

NO - You can by the warranty later after the dealers runs out. It'll be cheaper then too. The extended warranty costs the same as the average repair, so WAIT until your factory warranty runs out, see what kind of shape the vehicle is in, then decide to purchase the warranty years from now. Trust me, you'll get the offers in the mail - They know when it's up...

no I don't think so, for all the items you buy in life, the chances of you getting to use the extended warranty is very low. Spend the money on some cool gear for your car!

DO you plan on keeping this vehicle that long? How is its worthiness and such? Prior years have lots of issues with them and such? Like recalls. Also, if your not that mechanically inclined, then it'd be a decent choice. Good luck.

No. Save your money. Most of that coverage is already covered. With Factory Warantee.
