There is always something of interest in a "boring" subject, as any topic has its interest attributes. Look at its basic sense attributes; does it have a taste, smell, noise, or touch attribute? Is there a benefit to someone, something, or environment? Is there a benefit to the study of it, or its application to the world at large? If you had to make it your life's work, what would you concentrate on? Who would be your audience? How would you explain it to someone who knew nothing about the subject? If you can answer that question, you may find that will be your answer. Can you find a future use in studying the subject, or applying the knowledge of the subject to a different science altogether? Think of the possibilities. It is a large world at there, and everything you touch, hear, sense and smell, has a direct impact on your brain and its growth. So, nothing is ever boring. Perhaps you can look at it that way. By identifying why you think it is boring) you may identify what is going on in your life that may be causing you to think that way. Smile, dance, and go back to the subject. Movement may cause your body and mind to become focused and more confident about the subject.

I'm not sure if YOU find the subject boring... or you're planning on teaching or presenting a "boring" subject.
When I took the Navy Instructor's course... we HAD to pick a boring subject... add some humor, a good story... and GO !!
One of my most FAVORITE teachers was a college history professor... he was also a stand-up comic !! His lectures were ALWAYS packed... I audited his classes a second time because he made a BORING subject amusing !!
Good luck

I've found that the more I learn about a boring subject, the more interesting it becomes, but it takes a while. Just keep listening, learning and reading about it, and when you've developed some expertise in the area, you might find yourself interested in it as well.

Teach it in the nude.
Seriously, explain why it is important before hand. FOr math problem, set up a real problem involving money or such. "I just heard from a rich uncle's estate that I inherited 5% of a million dollars...I need to send him an invoice to collect. Help me..."

seek for some sort of challenge in it. If you establish goals, or turn it into some sort of game, it will not be boring anymore.
