Do kids have to shower before and after gym in high school? Thanks!

Thank you for your answers, but I'm not asking for YOUR opinion, I'm just asking do kids have to shower before and after gym in high school.
P.S. I live in Newton, Massachusetts (In case you needed to know that when answering the question).

We never had to take a shower before or after gym. We had showers so if we wanted to take one we could, but being girls most of us never really participated enough to need a shower. We just sat back and watched the guys.
In middle school we swam on one day a week so I usually took a shower before and after swimming. Before to warm up for the pool and after to get the chlorine out of my hair.
I live in Indiana and it wasn't required there.

not really not many school allow their pupils to shower in the school but if they do i would reccommend after gym because you might stink and after a shower you smell nice

It wasn't required at my school. The showers were there but coach didn't allow much time for showering.

I don't think they have too, but I know that most do after gym, not before.

Not when i was in highschool. What's the point of showering first to get sweaty and have to shower again? Seems silly to me.

Depends on the school. About 15 years ago when I was in jr. High we didnt have to.

I think they SHOULD after gym. The rest of the school shouldn't have to be subjected to their body odor for the rest of the day.
