LOL, I was genna say...........no you are not fat at 5ft2 and 125lb. You don't need to lose weight unless you personally want to.

You would be better off getting your body fat percentage checked. If it is over 30%, then yes lose weight, if it is between 25% and 30%, you may want to lose a few pounds, if it is less than 25%, then definitely stay as you are.

Also it depends where you carry the fat. If your waist is 28 inches or less, I wouldn't bother trying to lose any weight. HTH : )

Have you ever been tested for thyroid problems? That might be a reason why you have a slow metabolism I understand how hard it is to be a little on the heavy side When I was 14 I was 5'5''and weighed 250lbs If you go on a diet dont use any diet pills because your body is still growing The best thing for you to do is have your parents take you to a doctor and see what kind of diet is for you By making better choices in what you eat and how much You can loose weighed safely but it will take a will Good Luck

I feel the best when I go out for a walk. That is an exercise that is fun and enjoy able. Everyone should exercise even it you do it just to feel better and enjoy the outside.

IF you feel that you should lose weight then you should. No one can make you lose weigh but your self. I lost alot on weight watchers. It is a good diet to eat and lose weight

Maybe you should consult your doctor about it. I'm not a professional, but u should probably talk to him, just for the sake of your health. So I wouldn't be able to tell you accurately what you should do. As long as your happy and healthy don't ever worry about what others think about you. What's on the outside doesn't matter nearly as much as what's on the inside. Good luck with the decisions that you and your doctor make.

If you think you are too fat then , yes lose weight. Remember as you get older it gets tougher to lose the weight and for health risk purposes it is a good idea to drop some weight. Alot of health issues can arrise from being over weight for a long period of time too.

I think that you will need to loose some weight. See a doctor and do not starve yourself. Make more exercise. Check your blood sugar. At 14 it is normal to gain some weight but not so much.

If you are serious about losing weight, the calories
in the food you eat should be less than the
energy you use. You will have to increase your
metabolic rate now, and plan your diet carefully.
Formulate your own weight loss plan and you will
lose weight faster. More details available at

Yes, you are at an very unhealthy weight for your height. Exercise and find someone who will help you set up a safe and healthy diet. Search for a BMI(body mass index) calculator on-line to see your ideal weight. i think web MD has one.
good luck

Unless you can bench press 400 lbs, unfortunately, I think so. It might help you to figure-out if it is your environment that is contributing to your weight (is everyone in your family also overweight?) or your psychology. Does eating help you to feel better?

125 isn't bad. You're right in your BMI range. It's all about how you feel you look though. People store weight in different areas of their bodies.
