If you want to know how often a new group of recruits starts basic training, when I was at Paris Island, there was a new group each week. The actual length of training was 11 weeks. Each recruit goes to basic once. I can't think of any other ways to interpret you question.

It sounds like you are asking how often they start up basic with new groups? I believe they run on a 6 week cycle. Every six weeks they bring in new recruits.

Basic training, otherwise known as boot camp is a one time ordeal. Once a Marine has completed boot camp he is never again required to repeat it. There is additional training required for the elite programs associated with the Marine/Navy service. Recon Marine, Seals, Special ops training all require special training, but is not to be confused with recruit training.

It's bootcamp. Basic training is for the army. And a class of about 200 marines graduates from each of the two MCRD (marine corps. recruit depoits. Paris Isalnd and san diego) every friday. 52 times a year each.
If you are asking how long it will take for a particular recruit to ship out, then it all depends on their MOS, that's fancy talk for your specific job.

If you join the Marines and complete basic training, you only go once. However, if you join any other branch of the service and complete their basic training, then get out of the service only to re-enlist in the Marines, you must complete Marines basic training. If you completed Marines basic training, got out of the service only to re-enlist in another branch, you do not need to do basic training again, the Marines basic training will cover any other branch.
